Announcing!

On March 20th 2011 @ 1:15pm we welcomed
the 6th member of our family!

Gage J. Anderson

He weighs in at 7lbs 12oz and is 19 inches long!

We are loving all of the snuggling that is going on!
He is so sweet and we ALL love him and think he is a keeper!

Being Thankful!

Halie had a thanksgiving feast at school that was so cute. They had a small little program where they told the story of Thanksgiving and then they sat down to make a turkey and then they feasted! What a fun day to spend with my little girl that I am so thankful for!

We spent Thanksgiving day at Grandma & Grandpa Chipman's house! I love when it is our year to spend time at their house, it takes me back to being a kid again at Grandma's house! We had a fun time decorating the tables together (all of the girls that is) and cooking of course!

I am so thankful for the boys in my life!

Here is Halie with her Great-Grandma & Grandpa Chipman!
She loves to spend time with them!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and it is always such a great reminder of the things that we are grateful for and the things that we shouldn't take for granted!

Fall Treats and Lost Teeth

One Sunday we decided to make some fall cookies to decorate. Halie LOVES to cook and make things so she is always wanted to do one or the other.

Gavin loves to do anything that he will get dirty doing! So he enjoyed that I made the frosting the kind that you get to "paint" on!

Here is the finished product! They did a pretty good job and they tasted great!

Halie is just loosing teeth left and right! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. It is so fun to see her go through these changes in life yet so sad that she is growing so fast. She is still darling even if she is missing her two front teeth!

Halloween

Halloween has to be one of my kids favorite holidays! They love to do all of the activities and go to all the costume parties yet, like every other kid, the candy has to be the best part! We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins. Every year we get online and find a "cool" pattern to carve on our pumpkins. They all have an opinion and have in mind what they want. This makes it a lot of fun because they get to involved and take pride in their pumpkins when they are done!

Here is Halie with her teacher on the day they dressed in their costumes!

Believe it or not this is my mother with my boys on Halloween. My mom works at the school that Halie goes to so she gets to dress up for Halloween as well! Needless to say we all laughed pretty hard over this one!

After taking Gavin to his preschool Halloween Carnival Gavin wanted to take a picture of Grady and me so he did and then of course Grady wanted to take one too! ( with some help of course!)

Halloween night was spent up at my parent's house. They have a neighborhood that has a lot of kids out so it makes it a lot of fun! Here are the three kids with "their" pumpkin all lit up on Halloween night!

Grady and Grandma out to get their loot!!!
Here they are after trick-or-treating with all their candy doing their inventory! Grady is beside himself and has never seen so much candy!
I also had the opportunity to go out with my friend Saffron to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village! So much fun and a great out! We went to dinner at Gardner's Village with a show and then walked around and did some shopping! Can't wait for next year, this will be a new tradition for sure!!! Next year we will do some more preparations on our outfits!!!

Random moments with my boys!

You are not a kid in my opinion if you don't get to eat ice cream, even in the winter time! I will admit I will get them an ice cream cone to eat while I run errands so that they don't get restless! Then this is what it looks like when I get home!!!

Grady LOVES his dwink cup! This is what can be found on a typical morning at our house...
No pants on, still in pajama top, with a "duce box!"

This is what happens when Gavin gets board... this would be RED fingernail polish!!! I also found a puddle of it under my bed!!!

I love it when my toddlers fall asleep in the car, especially while eating chicken nuggets!!!

Gavin LOVES treats anytime of the day or year. Fall is one of our favorites! We made caramel popcorn and Gavin had the idea to make them like a popsicle! As you can see by the smile on his face he was very excited about these!

Grady on the other had LOVES any kind of food and can't wait for them to be done so he likes to clean out the bowl for us!

My boys like most LOVE to make huts and forts! Here is one that they made with the couch cushions and Gavin was the photographer on this one!

My boys can be very messy eaters and here is a picture of Grady at a birthday party just getting started on his cake and loving every minute of it!!!

I love my boys and one of the reasons is there is NEVER a dull moment!

Field Trips

Field Trips, Field Trips, and even MORE Field Trips! My kids LOVE to go on all the field trips that happen in the fall. Gavin's class went to Hee Haw Farms where they get to see the animals, ride the hay ride, go down the slides and most importantly pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! This is the second year that Gavin has been able to go on this field trip and he had such a great time! Grady got to come along and all he wanted to do was everything that the other kids were doing, the problem with that is that he is still too little to play around all the bigger kids.

Here is Gavin with his pumpkin he picked!
Going down the big slide and wondering if he gets to go again!

Little Grady wanting so badly to go down the slide like Gav!
Please mom?!
Gavin with his best buddy Gracie going down the slide together!

I gave into those blue eyes and let him play on the slide that nobody was going down!

HOGLE ZOO

Halie's class took a trip up to the Hogle Zoo for one of their field trips and my kids were SO EXCITED! I decided to go as a chaperone and take my boys along too. They had such a great time! It was so fun to see Halie interact with her classmates and to also have fun watching my boys see the Zoo for the first time!

Here is Halie with some of her friends from school!

I love Grady's face in this picture, you can see just how much fun he was having!
One of Grady's favorite times of the day... lunch time!
They girls being silly!
My little monkey just "hanging around!"
We were able to see the elephants eat and also see the brand new baby elephant that was so cute!
Grady... the ladies man!
We had a great time together and can't wait to go again next year!
